Biography
Ifeta Lihić graduated from the University of Sarajevo with a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature. At Central European University and The University of York, she earned a GEMMA double master's degree in Women's and Gender Studies. As a curator and project manager at the Museum of Literature and Performing Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, her focus has been on researching and archiving works by authors from minority literary traditions. Her PhD research focuses on how archival practices and academic research are connected to the canonization of ethnonational and minority literatures in the post-war Balkans. In addition to her primary research focus, she is interested in affect theory and museology, post-socialism, women's history and its intersection with religion in Bosnia and Herzegovina (particularly the period 1815-1941), and Ladino literary heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
